BPMB and MACC Empower Youth with Integrity in Kem AMAR Sarawak 2025

Lundu, Sarawak | 9 November 2025 — Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad (BPMB), in collaboration with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), successfully concluded the Program Kem Angkatan Mahasiswa Antirasuah (AMAR) Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi Zon Sarawak 2025 at the Akademi Kenegaraan Malaysia, Lundu.

This three-day programme, held from 7 to 9 November, marks the second consecutive year that BPMB has partnered with MACC to engage university students on the importance of integrity and anti-corruption. The initiative brought together 120 students from higher education institutions across the Borneo region to deepen their understanding of ethics, teamwork, and leadership in combating corruption.

“Integrity is not built in a day — it’s cultivated through awareness, action, and accountability. Through Kem AMAR, BPMB is proud to stand with MACC in shaping the next generation of leaders who will uphold these values,” said Puan Rohayati Talha, Chief Compliance Officer of BPMB, reflecting BPMB’s commitment to youth engagement and ethical leadership.

“Kem AMAR plays a crucial role in empowering youth as key communicators of anti-corruption values. We are encouraged to see BPMB’s continued partnership and leadership in ensuring that awareness and moral courage become integral parts of Malaysia’s education and corporate ecosystem,” said KPKPj Encik Samsul bin Salip, Deputy Director of the Community Education Division, MACC.

Themed “Memperkukuh Integriti Membentuk Mahasiswa Terbilang”, the programme featured interactive workshops, group challenges, and certificate presentations, recognising student achievements in integrity, teamwork, and leadership. Seven groups competed for awards, while individual accolades were presented to the best male and female participants.

By extending Kem AMAR to the Borneo region for the first time, BPMB and MACC have reached a new cohort of future leaders, reinforcing the message that corruption has no place in Malaysia’s higher education or professional environments. The programme’s success demonstrates BPMB’s ongoing commitment to delivering impact capital for national development, combining financial stewardship with purpose-driven initiatives that nurture ethical leadership among youth.
